Good quality audio and tweaking your template are the most important elements in optimising your VetNotes.

Audio Quality

Good quality audio is the most important factor in VetNotes' accuracy.

Tips for the best audio quality

  • Be within 1-2 metres of the microphone
  • Face the microphone when speaking
  • When recording on a computer or laptop, use in a USB microphone.
    • We recommend the Razer Seiren V3 Mini (~$60 USD).

Tweak your template

  • If you're using a custom template, make subtle tweaks over time.
    • For example, if VetNotes is not mentioning follow ups, add "Make sure to include follow ups" in your template.
  • After changing your template, regenerate notes from previous recordings - this will validate if your tweaks are working.
