Language Settings

Input Language

• This is the language of the recording or consultation.
• Input languages supported: United States - English, Australia - English, New Zealand - English, South Africa - English, United Kingdom - English, Spanish, Russian, German, French, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, Danish
• There are several options for English. This will help transcribe your accent.

Output Language

• Language that the notes will be written in.
• Options for UK & US English - this determines spelling of words like anaesthesia/anesthesia
• It can be different from the input language. Eg consult in Spanish, but your notes written in English.
• Output languages supported: United Kingdom - English, United States - English, Spanish, Russian, German, French, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, Danish

How does VetNotes deal with accents?

• Generally, very well.
• It is rarely a show stopping issue.
• However we do recommend taking a look at increasing transcription accuracy.
